Botox is a muscle relaxing preperation designed to soften and relax the muscles of the forehead, the frown lines and the crows feet around the eyes.

Botox is a toxin derived from the clostridium botulium bacterium. It works by blocking the transmission of the nerver impulses to the injected muscles. Tiny injections of this procuct can be tailored to reduce muscle activity in the desired area of the face, resulting in a younger, fresher appearance.

Depending on the area of treatment, this product lasts on average 4 - 5 months for the crows feet, the forehead lines and the frown lines. For under arm sweating (hyperhidrosis) it can last up to 12 months. For the platysma bands of the neck it will last around 6 months.
